Boston Terminal Refrigerating Company

The Boston Terminal Refrigerating Company was located on the corner of Sumner and Orleans Streets, close to the Boston Albany railroad yard. Completed in 1909, the nine-story building was 100 feet wide and 160 feet long. Next to the building was a train shed that could hold twelve train cars, so goods being unloaded would not be exposed to the outside weather.
